I don’t remember my twitter password. Nor do I remember the password of sites I rarely visit. So, to get around the problem, I reuse passwords. Obviously, that is not very safe. If I use the same password for an important site (internet banking) and a less important site (a site that I don’t visit often and one that has a hacker program collecting passwords), I expose my password. People tend to use similar passwords too – so once a hacker finds the pattern, it is easy to crack your email, and other important stuff. The book excerpt today discusses the commonly used passwords that people think are difficult to crack and informs on what is the stuff good passwords are made of.
