We talk a lot about our bodies, especially the unpleasant aspects – cellulite, sagging skin, pigmentation, farting and so on. Our age is afflicted with the disease of body aversion and we seem to be obsessed with endless pondering over small bodily imperfections. It wasn’t the same earlier –a generation earlier – when respecting aging and our bodies was encouraged. The author makes some good observations about this shift.
