A sample of semen can be used to produce many children. Sperm donors find it surprising that they have fathered as many as 200 children. Certain countries have laws that restrict the number of families that can use sperm from a single donor. Most countries do not. Even in countries with regulations, companies sell sperm to more than the permitted number of families. Of course, there would be consequences of such unregulated practices.
